POLYMER SCAFFOLDING
Mechanical Characterization of Biodegradable Polymer Scaffolding for Bone Implants.
An innovative mechanical characterization of biodegradable polymer scaffolding for bone implants through Polyetheretherketone (PEEK)/ Hydroxiapititte (HAP)/Graphene Oxide (GO) material 3D printing. It provides mechanical characterization of biodegradable polymer scaffolding for bone implants by using an innovative combination of Polyether Ether Ketone (PEEK) Hydroxyapatite (HAP)/ Graphene oxide (GO) to solve the problems of high melting temperature and poor adhesion and makes it possible to achieve the lightweight characteristic. The innovative combination through precision of geometric calculation makes it more relevant to the bone implants specially Femurs, Hip Joints and Ribcage.
